The Gille Brighde Cafe and Restaurant sits right on the shore of Loch Torridon in Wester Ross where the drama and tranquility meet as comfortably as the mountains and sea.
We serve the very best local produce, fresh and homemade food – seafood, fish, meat, game & venison from neighbouring shores and glens. We are fully licensed with a select wine menu, some fantastic real Ales and Cider, and of course the Malt Whisky Shelf filled with the ‘Uisge Beatha’ (Gaelic for Water of Life…)
We cook from scratch, keep it simple but with a wee twist and serve it all with creativity, imagination and proper hospitality.
It is a special place, and whether by sea or by road we think the destination is definitely worth the journey!
We always recommend booking – we get extremely busy, we don’t like to rush anybody to finish and it is a long road so please call to check we have a table!
Our opening times are here, and we’d love to welcome you to this wee rest beside the shore…
